“A Day in a Life” series
My most recent work is a series of panoramic paintings that employ multiple canvases to create a 360° view. Entitled “A Day in a Life”, each work is very personal and represents a typical day in my life. There are currently ten works in the series. Although I’m not physically represented in the works, I consider each a self-portrait. The works range in size from 30-40 cm high to 2-3 meters wide. An important aspect of these works is that the composition is altered depending on which canvas is placed first. By successively removing the first panel and placing it at the end, a different composition is created. They are meant to be exhibited in a way to show this aspect of the work.
